Why settle for ordinary?

Our office is pleased to offer Damon Smile Braces—a whole different approach to treating patients. Thanks to these innovative braces, achieving your perfect smile can be faster and easier than you ever thought possible! Damon braces use a specialized slide mechanism instead of elastics to hold the archwire to the brackets. These slides reduce the amount of pressure being placed on the teeth, so teeth are able to move freely and quickly. As a result, treatment with Damon Smile is often faster and requires fewer adjustments than traditional braces.

See The Difference

Damon Smile’s passive, self-ligating braces eliminate the need for elastic or metal ties and don’t require tightening. Very light, shape-memory titanium archwires gently guide your teeth to their ideal position.

Treatment time with Damon Smile is typically much faster than with conventional braces because the shape-memory wires don’t plateau and then require tightening. Plus, there are no elastics to cause friction and slow progress.

The Damon braces’ gentle, low-friction force facilitates healthy tooth movement that minimizes discomfort. Low-profile brackets reduce mouth irritation.

Far fewer appointments are required during treatment, making your Damon experience convenient and hassle-free.

Without elastic ties, which collect plaque, Damon braces make dental hygiene easy. Easier to clean means less tooth decay.  Additionally, the gentle force of the Damon Smile system promotes efficient tooth movement and supports oral health by preserving the roots of your teeth. This also minimizes gum recession and unnecessary tooth loss.

Sleek brackets without distracting elastics offer a streamlined look. Plus, Damon Smile is available in clear brackets for patients who want a great smile with discreet treatment.

Braces options that meet your needs

Our practice also offers a full line of different braces options. At your consultation we'll take the time to understand your clinical needs and personal preferences and match you with the perfect treatment solution.

Below are a few of the additional types of braces we offer:

Traditional Braces at San

Traditional Braces

The most common type of braces, traditional metal braces are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colorful smile. This tried-and-true treatment is an efficient and cost-effective solution for many of our patients

Clear braces at Sandy Smi

Ceramic (Clear) Braces

Ceramic braces are made of clear materials that blend in with your teeth. Older teenagers and adults who prefer a more discreet aesthetic appreciate this option. Ceramic braces are larger and more brittle than their metal counterparts, so they require more attention for thorough oral hygiene and are best suited for upper front teeth.
